The awkward measurement of fear

Permalink 1

People are scared of deep pools. Not by nature, but because the society have taught them to be scared.

Once the water is deep enough that you must swim to stay afloat, does it really matter how deep the pool is?

When man face something that is not certain she tends to measure that uncertainty by the same measurement as you weigh a bag of flour.

Step out of your comfort zone and see uncertainty for what it is; a pool that you will swim in no matter of its depth. Then it will be much easier to stay afloat and perhaps even learn to master the art of swimming at an excellence.
